    Hayden and Heath have known each other since they were five and have always known that they were meant to be together. After suffering the devastating loss of his father, Heath is overwhelmed by grief and pushes everyone away, including Hayden, going so far as to end their engagement, move out of their house and in to an apartment. We get to see different sides of grief, how each of the Fitzpatrick clan coped and worked through their grief. Heath came across as mean to Hayden, who you can tell sincerely loves Heath and was trying to be understanding and kind to Heath for the majority of the book until she was pushed to the point of no return and had enough. It was then that Heath saw the error of his ways with the help of his family and became determined to get Hayden back in the end. I thought the book could have used a good editing, for instance Heath and Hayden had finished making love, Heath puts his jeans on while Hayden got him a glass of water, but after drinking the water, they exchanged words and during that exchange he was putting on his jeans and shirt. But didn't he put the jeans on before? I feel as though the book could have been shorter and more interesting as there wasn't any one thing in this story that was memorable.
