    This book was so good. I rarely put it down, even in school. Characters are intriguing and I always love an author that can write a good, strong female lead. :)
  • The plot thickens!

    The fact that there is actually a plot is something that I really enjoyed in this novel. I felt that I was getting to look behind the curtain while reading this and I loved the power play dynamics between Nathan and Ashton. The main characters were flawed in a relatable way and I love how Alex goes after what she wants but sticks by her values in the end. Nathan felt slightly less developed, as most of his chapters fixated on wanting Alex and on his goal, but overall a decent love interest. Now on to the Clothing Mogul!

    The I love yous at the end had me turning my head like a dog. Don't get how they fell in love. They weren't likable at all.

    I liked that this is a series, but that each book is a stand alone (completed story) if you like the characters and enjoyed the reading, you buy more books! Fun, sexy story!

    It's so bad. There's nothing romantic & sweet, witty or funny. The main characters are completely unlikeable. There's no substance, most of the interactions are described in the inner monologue rather than being experienced. Alex's 'character' is so inconsistent & unbelievable. I didn't like her at all. And Nathan? Nothing to write home about. I can't name a single shred of personal insight into his character. There's no history, no back story to his character except that he started a business with 50 dollars. Thanks, that makes him soo endearing. 🙄 their relationship has no substance. They hook up a handful of times & then both believe they're in love. All of this inside of like... 2-3 weeks? (The timeline wasn't very clear.) And all of the business bs? It wasn't very clear to me. What was the point of a trillionaire's club? Don't waste your time, this isn't romance. It's more like a street walker & her John being a monogamous couple. 💩

    Nathan Turner is a connector, he wants nothing more then to have his idea of the Syndicate to happen. But what he never saw coming was Alex Wynn. The moment he saw her, he was intrigued. With overhearing something Alex shouldn't, she was an opening to finally talk to Nathan and make a connection. But both get more out of their meeting then either wanted. Really great story and great characters that will have you reading this story in one sitting. I can't wait to read Ashton's story next.
