As a big fan of memoirs, I wanted to try my hand at writing about the events of my life that deserve a little more consideration than can be accomplished in 140-characters or a 6-minute vlog. Now on the cusp of turning 30, I'm ready to expose some parts of my life that I haven't shared before. Before, it was all about privacy, process and time. And now the time has come! I’m ready to put myself out there, for you.  

I'm a little nervous about all these vulnerable words going into the world, these tales about my love life, the wrestling I’ve done with faith, how I feel about sex and my family and myself. I’ve had a lot of trials, a lot of errors, but also a lot of passion. Here’s the thing--I've always found comfort in the stories shared by others, so I hope my stories, now that I feel ready to tell them, will bring you some comfort too.

And when you read this book please remember: Buffering is just the time it takes to process.

    This book is sad and heartbreaking and heavy, heavier than I expected. I can't believe Hannah has gone through all of that and she's a still kind, funny, loving person who's too good for the world. The book is incredibly well written and beautiful in all senses of the word. I has made me reflect on my own life hardships and regain hope in myself and the world because if Hannah can still be kind, what's stopping the rest of us ?

    It may sound like I'm just saying this because I am a fan, but no, that's not the case. This book was incredibly moving and inspirational. Hart gives you a look into her life, every bit of it, and keeps nothing a secret. This is truly something to appreciate and look forward to. Great for anyone looking for a good read, or wanting to know about their favorite superhero/mess-hall employee/drunk chef, as in my case.

    Touching, necessary, and honest. Hannah teaches and helps the reader with this book. It can be read as a guide to self-care and an extremely honest story of dealing with incredibly difficult circumstances. It is honest- not over-the-top dramatic or boring.     A beautifully written memoir by a very talented woman who acknowledges the advantages that has and the privileges that didn't have growing up. I'd like to think that this could also teach someone to stay humble and grounded when they get stuck up in the clouds. They can remember that life isn't so easy for most people.

    This book and I had a relationship much like the start of a new friendship you're thrilled to be participating in. You want the conversation to linger and last all night and you're sad when it ends. You get to know the person more intimately as the night and relationship mature. It's a wonderful thing knowing what makes people who they are. Hannah let us into her life more than she probably anticipated but I appreciate how much she let us peak into her. This book was happy and sad and funny and sincere but it was moving. Thank you. Hugs and love from Portland, Or

    I'm inspired by Hannah's bravery and courage. It's a thoughtful, thought provoking book and I somehow read it in a day. I'm lot even sure my mind could possibly comprehend or download everything. I guess it's just... buffering. I'll just leave that there. Seriously, buy the book. You won't regret it.

    I have loved watching Hannah's YouTube videos for quite some time, but at times felt disconnected. I admire her and love all of her work. This book was extreme insightful. I loved the writing and the way she talked about 'not being gay'. Such a great book :)
